Earned ("we," "our," or "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your choices when you use the Earned mobile application ("App").

Information We Collect
Account Information
If you create an account, we collect your email address and authentication identifiers (for example, when you sign in with Apple or email/password). If you use Sign in with Apple, we may receive your name on first sign-in only, as provided by Apple.
App Usage Data
We store information related to your use of Earned, such as:
- Tasks you declare and complete
- Timer and scroll window status
- Streak and achievement progress
- Subscription status (free or Pro)
This data is stored in our backend (Supabase) to sync across sessions and devices when you are signed in.
Screen Time & App Selection Data
Earned uses Apple's Screen Time, Family Controls, and ManagedSettings APIs to lock and unlock apps you select. Your app selections and Screen Time usage data are processed on your device by iOS. We do not receive a list of which apps you use or your detailed Screen Time history.
Subscription Information
Purchases are handled by Apple. We use RevenueCat to verify subscription status and entitlements. We do not receive or store your payment card details.
Device & Diagnostic Data
We may collect basic technical information (such as app version and device type) to maintain and improve the App. We do not use third-party advertising trackers.
How We Use Your Information
- Provide and maintain the App
- Authenticate your account and sync your data
- Manage subscriptions and Pro features
- Send notifications you enable (e.g. timer reminders, streak reminders)
- Improve reliability and fix bugs
- Respond to support requests
Data Sharing
We share data only with service providers necessary to operate the App:
- Supabase — authentication and database hosting
- RevenueCat — subscription and entitlement management
- Apple — Sign in with Apple, in-app purchases, Screen Time APIs
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights and users' safety.
Data Retention
We retain your account and usage data while your account is active. You may request deletion of your account by contacting us at support@earned.dev.
Your Choices
- Screen Time permission — Required for app locking. You can revoke it in iOS Settings.
- Notifications — Manage in iOS Settings or within the App.
- Account deletion — Email support@earned.dev.
- Subscriptions — Manage or cancel in Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions.
Children's Privacy
Earned is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Contact us if you believe a child has provided us data.
Security
We use industry-standard measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and secure authentication. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.
International Users
Your information may be processed in the United States or other countries where our service providers operate. By using the App, you consent to this processing.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the revised policy on this page and update the "Last updated" date.
